• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone figured out how to get remote start on the 2020 model (preferably from Kia dealership) that doesn't void warranty, and doesn't need an extra key fob to lug around?

Did a quick search and didn't find anything conclusive on this topic.

Thanks!

UVO might be your only option but it seems most folks don't want to pay.

Perfect! Need to go through the responses on this thread as well. Hope it doesn't void warranty.

Was wondering if they could use the new 2021 FOBs to get remote start for us 2020 early adopters!

It has not been tested, nor has anybody reported successfully getting OEM remote start “modified” or installed by Kia on a US 2020 Telluride. Since it only comes stock with a UVO (cell service) based remote starter.

If you bought a 2021 remote fob for a 2020 at this time, you basically have spent $300 for a third fob that does the same thing as your original two with a non-functioning remote start button. Not to mention, you’d need to pay Kia to program it for you, rendering one of your original two fobs useless. Likely because only two fobs can be registered to the car at a time.
