• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... retrofit electric folding side mirrors?

I bought an S thinking that I would not need the heated 2nd row captain chairs, the real leather interior, the rear sunroof, the electric folding side mirrors, etc... from an SX. After about 8 months of ownership, I regret that decision, not because I miss all those amenities, but I do miss having the electric folding side mirrors. I have 2 single garages, each is quite small. I have to get out and walk over to the passenger side to fold the side mirror whenever I pull in and out of a garage. It has become a little annoying chore. Does anyone know if we can retrofit an electric folding mirror, especially on the passenger side? I imagine that the manual one lacks of the folding motor but all the wiring should be there already except that it is not connected, and a switch like in an SX. Any experience with this or any thought, please share. Thx
