• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Does anyone have any access to wiring diagrams or something to help me with my reverse bulbs?

Vehicle: 2022 Telluride AWD S model.

My reverse lights do not come on at all. When it was newer I noticed it was not bright when backing up but we rarely drive at night and my wife mainly drives it so never really worried about it. Assumed that they just sucked from the factory.. didn't think twice about it. She never complained. I suppose they have not worked since we have had it. We have 89,000 miles on it so I assumed they just needed to be replaced.. 2 years old and mileage wise. Nope new bulbs done work. Took a multimeter to the plug on the car harness where the bulb socket connects, saying no power. Looked at the two fuse locations and only am seeing a brake switch one. Running lights and brake lights work fine. Seems like just the hatch is the problem. I searched on here but did not find a similar issue.

Since we have 89,000 miles on it and the dealership is saying its out of the 5yr/60k mile warranty and will not look at it without charging me to look at it. At the hourly rate of $135 and can’t guarantee they can find it within the first hour. Should this not be covered still?

I only know this due to backing out recently and almost getting hit. The person said they didn’t know I was backing up because they couldn’t see the reverse lights.

Note: We recently had to have our front passenger CV axle replaced (before the recall for them) at 62k miles and the first two dealers I called said it wasnt under warranty as that wasn't in the powertrain warranty. He said it was just like these lights 5yr/60k so I contacted kiausa and opened a case. Ended up doing the recall so then it was magically covered under the 10yr/100k powertrain at one of those same dealers.

Such a headache.

Anyone got idea on these lights? I refuse to pay $135-$xxxx money for them to diagnose it when its a safety issue and should not be my responsibility (no power to the plug)
