Ride comfort differences between 18 & 20” rims, and regular factory tires vs: all terrain tires?

Hello, I’m ready to buy a Telluride, and I’m looking for the smoothest, most comfortable ride possible. I know the suspension is the same across the board, and I did the test drive. Loved the Outback I drove for the last 7 yrs., but my body has aged right along with it.
As owners, will you please share your thoughts re: the rim sizes (18 or 20”) and the type of tire (all season vs: all terrain) & how they affect the ride comfort for front seat passengers. I’ve wanted the “Telly” since before the pandemic. I know the ride won’t compare to a luxury car, just want the best rim & tire options to improve the ride comfort. I’m in south FL, so mountains, snow and ice aren’t in the equation. Thank you for sharing.

Its identical. Kia went cosmetic with the 18" more rugged looking wheels on the x-pro to justify that model. They ride the same on the road.

Agree w/ Bilt.K5 -- Was concerned that my 2024 X-Pro would ride harshly with AT tires but I didn't notice any diff when I test drove and have been pleased with the ride since purchasing in December.

The Continental Terrain Contacts are listed as AT but they are definitely road/light trail type tires. Good tires but not the stiffer sidewalls and block treads you find on rugged terrain type ATs for Jeeps etc.
