I just put 1800 miles on my new Telluride driving from Colorado to Florida. I only saw 1 other Telluride and 1 Palisade the whole way. The ride was comfortable, and I really like the adaptive cruise control, the blind spot warning, and the fact that my two Collies were happy and secure in the 2 extra large crates that I can now fit in my car! With two rows of ceiling air vents, they stayed nice and cool.
I could not locate the tpms indicator before I left, (tried several times) and happened to do it accidentally on the trip which I was not surprised to find out I made on overinflated tires....uugh.

Before a long trip I would recommend using the old fashioned way of checking all 5 tires before departure, IMHO. I too just finished a 1000+ mile ride and loved all the features and comfort of my new Telly.

Good to know it fits 2 large crates. Ours is on order and knew it would fit one for sure. Curious how you secured them?

What is the tire pressure supposed to be? I think all of mine are at 40.

It's on the inside of the driver's door frame.

I have 20 inch Michelin’s and it’s 35 psi on the drivers door. Check your door for the exact psi for your tires.

Is that a minimum though? I will definitely check (been away from my Telly), but I read "minimum 35-37 psi" somewhere. Not sure what that means for daily life.

No. It’s not a minimum. That’s what it should be set to when the tires are cold. When you drive, the tires will heat up and the pressure will go up slightly.

I use the heavy rubber bungee cords

Ditto - 35 PSI on the 20 Inch Michelins. One thing I found a little disconcerting is, when I picked up my car from Kia in Plano, TX I assumed the tire pressure would have been correct or close from the dealer. However, I didn't think to check it at the dealership and when I finally got home to New Mexico, I finally did check my tires (cold) and discovered that my tire pressures were all over the map! Some were too high, others were too low - by significant amounts. I have my own air compressor so was able to correct the pressures and now I tend to keep a close eye on pressures.
