• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Just an FYI to anyone not aware of this issue. Have a 2021 Telluride with 36,000 miles on it. Engine light went on, brought it to a Kia dealer (I'm on vacation). They said rodents had been eating the wires and the wire harness will need to be replaced as well as wires. Cost $7300. Kia won't pay for this even though they have known about these issues since 2012. Apparently they use a wire coating that is made of soy that rodents love. This has also been an issue with some Mazda, Hyuandai, and Toyota cars. In the past class action suits have been tried but dismissed to get Kia to change the wiring they are using. Yes , I have insurance (less a $1000 deductible). Interesting, had a toyota for 13 years before this and never had a problem.
