  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I placed my order for 2023 SX-P, X-line 12 days ago. I got a call from the manager this morning for two topics - first was to offer me someone else's car (also an SX-P, X-line) but in gravity gray instead of preferred wolf gray. Terracotta interior, which is also what I ordered. As I haven't even begun reselling my '22 Sorento, I rejected his offer. Secondly, he informed me that he is pretty sure my order would be rolled over to a '24 since they had to stop taking orders on '23 models about a week ago. I have mixed feelings on this. As the '23 model showed substantial changes, at this point no one knows what improvements -- if any -- will be included with the '24 model. I see no changes coming to the appearance, unless they change the white DRLs to amber (but same new LED style) and maybe change the color of the bumpers. Internally, the 12.3" screen was modernized last year. I cannot fathom any new safety features -- I mean there is just nothing left to add.

But rest assured, the price will go up another ~$1500.

We are n about the same position. We ordered back in late April… but we had told the dealer if our new ‘23 SX didn’t arrive before the end of May (🤣) we would wait for a 2024. Understanding the risk of a price increase and our 2021 trade in price may be lower as well! But, we would much rather have a one year newer car - as opposed to a one year older car!
