• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I’ll just link this that will give the breakdown of which trims get what.

As to why they made the decision to have there be a difference between trims or not just have LED headlights and amber DRLs on all models, I don’t know. But I do know it’s very distinctive and you can see a Telluride coming from a long ways away.

EX premium and above has the LED DRL which is amber color. EX and lower are the Halogen DRL which are white.

Many thanx. (Sorry.....didn't realize there was a recent thread on this).

I didn’t either… I just knew because I just placed my order a month ago… while the DRL was not the reason I decided to go EX premium it certainly was a nice upgrade

I outlined this in my earlier post, but to be clear, the DRL is LED no matter what. The color of that DRL LED is determined based on whether the headlight is LED or halogen.

Aesthetic “why” questions can only be answered by the designer but my guess is they chose to contrast the LED DRL against the color of the headlights

1. Amber DRL around white LED headlights

2. White DRL around yellow halogen headlights
