• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I took a turn too too tight and ended scraping a pole. I put touch up paint which I can live with.(I know the paint doesn’t match but it’s the OEM paint pen) Any ideas on what to do about the plastic trim? I rather not replace it as it will be costly but the scratches won’t come out. Thought about the back to black liquids but I think it will just make it shiny.

What is your deductible?

Deductible is 1k. I think I could replace the trim myself as it seems to just pop off? I tried to pull it a little bit.

See if your dealership has an autobody shop and stop by there and see what the price is to fix it out of pocket. Better that than making an insurance claim. Well depending on your budget..
