• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Not sure if this was scratched by the delivery company or the dealer when they were detailing my car but it looks like I have a scratch in the gauge cluster. Has anyone dealt with getting this replaced? The car only has 200 mi so I'm thinking of calling Kia and seeing if they could take care of it.

obviously worried that for them to get to the plastic I might risk other damage.

Part seems cheap enough. As for labor for replacing it, that may be a different story. :)

Being that the car is a week old, I'm guessing it's something kia should address under warranty. I'm 100% I didint do it since I haven't even taken a cloth to anything in the car.

Just not sure if the risk of having the dealer take the dash apart is worth it since I may have bigger issues afterward.

Well, dealer or Kia will have to approve it to be replaced by warranty first before you worry about dealer messing up more things. People crash their new cars as soon as they leave the dealer lot so being a week old car doesn't really give you much leverage. I would give the dealer a call and see what they would say first.

Wow - the fact that part is replaceable and only $30 is amazing.

Really good to know this.

I always thought you have to replace the whole cluster.
