• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Bought an EX a couple of weeks ago, still trying to find and turn off most of the "features" that clutter the screens and the driving experience. Give a programmer a screen and he can't resist showing all his tricks, useful or not. I have seen this in airplanes and in my wife's Mini, too.

Today's annoyance is the speed limit sign shown on the map screen. I am unable to find a way to make the thing go away. Has anyone successfully done this? How?

The speed limit sign on the map screen is built into the Navigation system. I don't think that it can be disabled.

Have you gone into the infotainment center settings and gone to navigation and played around with all the settings? Im pretty sure there is one there to disable.

If (and it's a big if) I remember correctly, it was related to the speed warning menu... It wasn't something super obvious!
