• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I’ve read all the posts regarding seat comfort. I have a 2022 SXP with 1500 miles and find the NAPPA leather seats to be a bit stiff. One post in 2019 asked, “Do the seats soften with use?” Anyone have a response to this question three years later? Any suggestions on how to soften the leather and make the ride more comfortable? Is it the leather that’s too stiff, or is it the lack of cushioning beneath the leather that is causing the stiffness? Any help is appreciated.

The seats in this car are on the stiff side with not much suppleness in the leather. To be fair, the leather in my Audi and the BMWs I've owned wasn't much better. Seems you can't have long lasting leather that's also soft. Owned an MDX for years that had soft leather and was cracking at the bolsters.

I've got a G80 with 112k miles on it now and the nappa leather is still soft with no cracks and minimal creasing. Honestly some of the nicer seats I've ever sat in.
