• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi, I drove from my mailbox to my driveway with no seatbelt on and it was chiming as expected. However when I got to my driveway and put the vehicle in park it just keeps chiming and would not stop. So my first question is why does the seatbelt chime not stop when you’re in the park? And secondly is there a way to disable it? Tks in advance.

this can be stopped in 3 ways:
1 - turn off the engine,
2 - fasten the belt,
3 - after about 5 minutes it stops ringing by itself.

That's a good question, it's happened to me a few times and I never got around to asking. Usually driving the one block to the mailbox.
