• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Working on my Telluride order

I haven't towed anything in 20+ years but as the towing package is such a great deal and since I need a hitch for a bike rack it is on my radar due to the small difference in price.
Maybe in 5 years I'll need a trailer to get the oldest kid to college....

I have concerns with additional complexity (i.e. more to fail) not to mention the difference in cost for shock replacement.

I cannot seem to find any feedback on the ride quality with and without the towing package?

Absolutely just get the hitch and the wiring harness and not the towing package. At one point you could do this by yourself for a cost of around $500 but I am not sure what the status of KIA hitches are currently. I put mine on myself and use it all the time for a bike rack but have towed a UHaul trailer for moving one of my kids.

Oof, just heard back from the dealer that they aren’t seeing the option to add the hitch for my order…
