I agree with all the replies to your questions. Like you, we live in Texas (near Houston) and are close to retirement. We wanted to replace our 16 yo Honda Pilot.
The only problem I had was when a local dealership tacked on an extra $5K to the MSRP price. I almost had a heart attack (nearly ended my retirement before it started!). Sorento, and I was not impressed). We were/are a Honda family, with no warranty work needed (ever) for 3 Honda vehicles. So, it was a leap of faith to go with Kia.
Thanks to the fine folks on this forum, I ordered one for MSRP from Huffines (Corinth). I have not had a single problem with my ride. Most advanced, comfortable, and safe, vehicle I have ever owned. Thanks everyone!
