• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... How is the driver comfort and ergonomics for short drivers? I am 5’1” and find that a lot of cars just don’t fit well given that they are designed for an average size male. Some specific areas of concern are:

1) How is the step in height for a smaller driver? Will side steps be necessary?
2) Position of the headrest? Does the angle push your head down uncomfortably?
3) Seat adjustability, mainly with regard to height, can it be raised enough to actually see down the hood of the car?
4) Reach to controls/touchscreen

I don’t anticipate being able to test drive a telly any time soon so any information would be very much appreciated.

My wife is 5’1 and she hasn’t complained about any of the items you asked about. She is the primary driver for our Telly and I drive on the weekends. we didn’t need to install any side rails.

Thanks. That is what I was hoping to hear!

I don't know which trim level you are interested in, but the seat adjustments are best on SX models and perhaps too on EX. Some people have complained that the passenger seat sits a bit low in LX and S models - as they are manual. But, I haven't seen any complaints about driver seat height in those trims.

My wife is 5-4 and has no issues. The car doesn't sit up all that high and you should have no issues getting in and out. As to the drivers seat, she doesn't have issues with that either and it is pretty adjustable... Good luck, she says it is one of the most comfortable cars she has ridden in.
