• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I was out doing a little video of some of my favorite "minor" features on my Telly today and I inadvertanly locked the side mirrors in the folded in position. At one point I pressed the unlock button and the mirrors remained folded in. Yikes! (I thought). I already have a problem with my new Telly, I thought. After playing around with it, I discovered the little Fold/Unfold button in front of the mirror controls. I then realized that, if you use that button to fold the mirrors in, the mirrors will NOT unfold when unlocking the doors. This "feature" is not clearly described in the manual. Anyway, once I pressed that button again and unfolded the mirrors that way, everything works as normal. It took me a while to figure out that my mirrors weren't broken.

Well, if you are intentionally folding in your mirrors with the button, you are usually doing it for a reason. If the vehicle automatically unfolded them despite what you told it, it could result in damage at worst or annoyance at best.

I'm sure the feature make sense, I just didn't realize that it even had that button nor did I realize I had pressed it.

It’s a pretty common button/feature for cars with power folding mirrors. All Audi’s have this function. It is most likely meant to be used when pulling into a tight parking spot. Or parked on a busy street while you wait in your car so bicyclist don’t ride by and bang into it.
