• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Side Window Air Deflectors

Those of you who have the Weather Tech deflectors on the front, how do you like them? Have they performed well? Any installation pbms? Do they handle drive-thru car washes ok ? .....tia......

All,

I found another thread today advising Weathertech has the full set now, front and rear. I just ordered mine today.

I have had WT window vent visors on other cars (Corolla). As far as “performance”, it’s nice to have the window down a bit when it rains or want to have the windows partially open and avoid leafs or other debris floating into the car.

Drive-thru, smaller cars I think struggle such as the Corolla when you have large orders like KFC or Panda Express - essentially large boxes/packages. I think a few pizza boxes weren’t an issue. But for the most part, any fast food orders and drive-thru windows aren’t a problem with the window deflectors.

Weather Tech only offers these for the front windows. Do you know of anybody who has them for front & back ? ........thanx ........
Just popped up on their website. I just ordered my full set today.

Thanx so VERY much for the heads-up ! I just ordered a full set.
WT does make good stuff, but not cheap. $109 for the full set.......ok, I can make myself accept that (barely), but $72 for shipping ???? Yikes ! That's overkill......but I did it anyway. (Maybe some Alaska bump in that?). Whatever........ I'm not gonna come out of retirement over it.
Again..... thanx for the heads up !

I'd be interested in hearing about your installation, if / when you do it.
When they say "in window channel" I would think that might interfere w/ the closing of the window (?). Oh well, we'll see ......

Years ago that was my dilemma, in-channel or adhesive window deflectors. I thought in-channel would make it difficult to fully close the window or interfere causing wind noise or a whistling sound. I never got that experience with my Corolla WT in-channel (front and rear set). I never had any water leaks either.

I’d like to assume the same with the Telluride. There’s another thread on here and I haven’t heard of windows not closing for the front deflectors.

I’ll update the thread with my install and experience once they are delivered.

Many thanx ......

Has anyone removed the Weather Tech decal which is on both front deflectors? It does not seem to be an "easy peel" type decal, and I don't want to make a big mess of it !!
