Sly bracket in cold weather?

Anyone have the Sly front license plate bracket on a 2023, live in an area that actually gets cold weather, and go through a winter with it on?
I am very hesitant to pay $100 for a hunk of plastic that looks like it wouldn't survive below zero temps and appears to stick out so snow and ice would build up behind it.

No problem with our front plate bracket. We also have cold and snow where I live.
