• THIS SECTION IS ONLY FOR DISCUSSIONS RELATING TO BUYING A TELLURIDE. PLEASE USE A DIFFERENT SECTION FOR POSTING MESSAGES ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN BUYING A TELLURIDE. THANK YOU!

  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So sad, but Looking at Palisade Limiteds now... 3.7% off MSRP Can I get anywhere near this deal on a Telluride?

Thanks for the reply @mrmac. Yes I have close family in this business. Lots of areas under scrutiny from an operational cost savings perspective: building / property leases, carrying cost & floor planning, to furloughs / layoffs. Every opportunity to maximize margin is on the table for them.

I've been a Forum member for roughly the same amount of time as you. I have the utmost respect for the viewpoints and contributions of this community. Many of your responses appear to be a bit on the negative side if the OP doesn't appear to align to your viewpoints. A little kindness goes a long way.

Enjoy the ride.

Yes, I don't put much emotion into my text.

I hope your family can work through this.

Overall, while squeezed primarily by available inventory, the auto industry is doing very well so far during this pandemic. Especially franchise dealers. I can imagine things are quite tight for non-franchise dealers.

Thanks for the insight.
