Hello all! First, I just want to thank all of the Telluride owners and Kia insiders who have created these forums with so much information. As a new convert, it's so helpful to be able to search and get info about this car.

I ordered an EX AWD N/T/P in Dark Moss/Dune Brown on 1/20. I know it takes a little while for that to actually be put into KFOS. The salesperson who helped me was new - I felt like I knew more about the car than him. So he said I wouldn't hear from him for 3-4 weeks. So, do I wait patiently? Do I search other Colorado dealers to see if they have what I want coming in? Not sure.

I put down a $500 refundable deposit.

I have joined this forum - and several Facebook groups. I know about Failcat but don't know how to track anything on it.

Failcat isn’t functioning properly at this time but is an excellent resource. Did you put down a deposit and is it refundable? A lot of folks have put down a deposit and then found what they wanted at a different dealer. If it’s not refundable; you lose the money if you don’t buy your ordered vehicle. Decisions to be made and questions to be answered

My deposit is refundable. I found another dealer in my state selling the same car for $7,000 more than I was quoted. Yikes!

Can you tell me about your stop gap inserts? Is it for in between the second row captains?

No they’re for the space between the front seats and the center console so nothing falls in that space

The transmission died on my 2006 LR3. Crazy right? That car was a gift to me.
