• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hope folks here can speak. In another Telly group I saw an opinion from people that compared both that S trim is noticeably noisier than EX at 60+ MPH due to non-soundabsorbing glass. Somehow, I missed that S comes without sound-absorbing glass, everything else in S fits my bill. We do drive 12-hour roundtrips 2-3 times a month on highways and our Tahoe was quietest vehicle at 80mph and noise at highway speeds will be a big problem for us. Has anyone compared S with EX directly? What was the difference in noise levels?

I have an S with 50k miles from many road trips and I guess I don’t know what I’m missing because the noise level seems acceptable to me. Because it is larger and more vertical it is noisier than my car, but I feel about the same as my minivan was.

I’m waiting for the glass that absorbs noise from inside my car. :)

That's called noise cancelling headphones lol.

Note: I do not advise that any driver wear noise cancelling headphones while driving.

I have a great dealer who is helping me out and willing to re-order the EX. I test drove EX and SX and those were the quietest vehicles I ever was in. My mass-loaded vinyl treated Sienna was very quiet after 140 hours of labor, quieter than my Lexus but EX/SX were very close, thus my questions.
