• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... This is my first vehicle with a spare tire that is suspended from the undercarriage. As a Chicago resident I worry a fair amount about theft and am wondering if anyone has purchased a lock for their spare tire.

A coworker of mine drives a Grand Cherokee and thieves clipped the cable that held their tire in place. Of course you don't realize it is missing until you need it!

Is there a product out there that prevents the above scenario and would work on a Telly?

If they would go as far as to do that, I would be more worried about the catylitic converters.

That’s a huge problem here and I have that covered. Just need the tire bit taken care of

Looks like your not alone. If you can find a suitable part of your frame. Be aware that you could end up having a lot more cost in damages over a $200? Tire the more you secure it.

Thanks @PittPa
I found this lock too. At this rate I could just use a cable and padlock (both of which I have). I just wasn’t sure if there was a product specifically for undercarriage spares that I was overlooking. If anyone knows of one, please chime in!
