Steering wheel smoothness

Hi everyone. I recently purchased S model with 20 miles on it from the dealership. Everything is going good with the car and really loving it. Only thing i notice is i sometimes need to keep steering wheel tilt alittle to left to keep the car straight. Maybe it is bcoz of florida roads made for rain water to move away from roads or i have been driving corolla 2010 for past 9 yrs and now i get hold of a very smooth steering wheel which moves freely. Any suggestions or thoughts...

I thought about it but then it's a brand new car.i don't know if alignment is out of a new car.

Or maybe the road where you noticed this left correction it is pitched to the right? Does it happen everywhere or it’s just certain roads? If it’s everywhere then you need to take it back.

It happens sometimes depending on road..on some road it goes towards opposite so i m guessing it's just the road and steering is really smooth which moves it quickly to that side..i m thinking to still report it at my first oil change just to be sure..

Some new cars absolutely do need a wheel alignment. I'd get it done as it's not that expensive and it'll save your tires from unnecessary wear.

Have dealer check alignment. If all else fails Maybe rotate tires. You could have a bad tire

Try with Lane Keep Assist switched off and if you feel the same.

I sometimes get a very very slight pull to the right with Lane Keep/Steering wheel assist on and am not able to nail down if it's me or if there is really a little tilt or pull. With LKA switched off I don't feel anything and it feels normal.

I haven't drive on the highway yet so i will be going for a drive and will check if it's the road thing and will add a pound on my right tire where it is going and will see if there is a difference..if not then i will be contacting dealership to check it..

It should, but the world is not perfect. I am sure even with Rolls every now and then there will be problems.

Nearly entry new auto becomes misaligned during transport. Alignments are covered under your 12/12,000 adjustment paid period by Kia

My SX pulls to the right constantly. But they said the checked alignment and it’s fine and can’t find the problem.

I have the same issue. Fades right, yet when corrected it shoots back quickly to the left. Worse than driving with a crosswind. Tire pressures are spot on, roads have little to no fade. I've even had the "Coffee Break" reminder pop up on the screen.

Owned ‘13 optima steering was junk, car would wander because center steering was impossible. You would continually make slight corrections left and right. Steering coupling was tearing itself apart. Dealership replaced, same issues with many kia’s. Bought new ‘17 sonota, thought steering issues behind Kia/Hyundai, wrong , still had to make slight corrections going straight down highway, no problems in any kind of turn, there’s a dead spot on dead center and I sold both cars mainly on that issue. The engine defects were like piling on. I can get by with many things but driving all day on the interstate making course corrections continually is extremely fatiguing. Both cars were spot on with alignment.

My Telluride SX is all over the road when the gas tank is above 3/4 of a tank. My take a break reminder comes on as well. Once it is below 1/2 tank she is straight n true.
