• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Before the big "IT" issue that wasn't ransomeware (wink wink), when my wife would dive past the Geo Fence, not only would she get an Alert of the car's screen, but I would also get a notification on my iPhone that she had driven past the fence. Now, however, even though the alert in the car still happens, I no longer am getting the alerts on the Phone App.

Anyone else have this issue? (Sorry of this has already been discussed)

Update- 99% sure I found my problem. Somehow in settings on my iPhone notifications for the Kia app were turned off! I swear I didn’t do it! Will know tomorrow if this fixes the issue.

@BasilFawlty:

I believe you. You most likely didn't do it.

There are a lot of unhappy poor souls slaving away at the Foxxcon Shenzhen manufacturing plant, that someone somewhere in QA/testing could have pre-installed some lovely iPhone gremlins for you.

It wouldn't be the first time.

Make sure you send Apple CEO Tim Cook a thank you card every year for creating and maintaining this "situation" :)

I haven’t been getting door locked/unlocked notifications from the app for about a month. Notifications are toggled on both in the app and in my iPhone settings. I’ve toggled on and off, logging out of and back into the app to no avail. Not driving much now but it would be nice if the notification worked in case I accidentally leave my Telly unlocked.

A notification like "You seem to have walked away from your unlocked Telly" would be helpful. Then I could either walk back and lock it with the KeyFob or just continue with my business and tap the screen of a "smart" phone to lock her up remotely :)

This vehicle really needs a proximity switch as standard equipment. Takes away all the “did I lock my vehicle” issues. Depending on where you live; an unlocked vehicle is a sitting duck.

I’ve been having the same problem, even before the IT problem. I’ve turned everything off and on too and deleted app as well
