• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Brainstorming "subtle" external appearance tweaks for my beloved Dark Moss. I happened to like the chrome accents (sorry, NFE lovers), but I'm thinking about adding a few accents of my own that would be unique to my ride. I don't want to over-rotate on this, so the subtlety is limited to lower door and quarter panel areas. Once I have a preferred design in hand, the plan is to get with a local wrapping outfit to finish the job professionally.

The Dark Moss is starting to show up a lot more on our DFW streets, which is a good thing! Pics attached are raw renderings I made with PowerPoint, and I've narrowed several ideas down to these 3.

As always on this forum, your comments/votes welcome! And so are other ideas that you might have. Thanks

I like the 3rd pic the most. I would maybe make the final design more narrow and with Telluride letters spaced out a bit more? I have the dark moss and would love to see this done.

Don't do it, especially #3. It ruins the classy looks unless you are going after the full on off-road look, with massive tires, snorkel, skid plate, bush guard, etc.

#1 for the win. #2 is runners-up but i wouldn't recommend it. Never do #3, it looks like a Kia dealership service customers pick-up and drop off vehicle.

Pick #3. Reduce the height. Match the font with the one on the vehicle's tailgate, and then space out the letters.

If I had to choose one, it would be #1; subtle and unique.

#3 reminds me of a Civic with HONDA in big letters across the top of the windshield. In my opinion, #1 looks the best. Maybe a matte black to match the black trim?

Owning a Dark Moss, I hear you about trying to add just a little touch of uniqueness to your ride. Since your going with some body graphics, what about a silver pinstripe right along the body crease that sits on the upper panels? The kits are cheap enough and if you don't like it, its an easy change. I can't say I am crazy about what you have shown so far. You could accent that lower cut out on the front doors possible? I am planning a project this winter and going to dip coat my winter wheels a bronze so that might make it stand out.

This is what I meant above

Here are pics of 2 different rocker panel additions that I have done to my Telly.

Current: Nice and subtle. Just right for me.

Original: Removed as I thought it was too bond - this is not an off-road vehicle.
