• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello Telluriders I have a 2020 we are at 27000 miles and the suspension is starting to feel real still if you sit in the back it will shoot you out of your seat. Anyone have any similar issues. Took it to the dealer they said nothing is wrong everything looks ok

The suspension is now too stiff?? Knowing how a suspension is designed I would have to say that doesn’t make much sense. Usually when suspension components wear the ride becomes softer and bouncier do to the springs no longer getting the same dampening from the shocks. If the dealer says it’s fine I would lean towards thinking they’re right and it just be all in the rear occupant’s mind.

I do agree with you, within time it gets softer eventually it starts to bottom out for some reason not the case. It’s bad enough you feel it in the driver seat. It feels like when you drive a F-350 dully without a load

Welcome. Moving this into our Suspension section...

For months I have been hearing noise whenever the car is moving over a bump. I though maybe the noise is from inside the cabin, something that isn't fitted well or moving around. I took the car for 30k Km (18k Miles) service. I asked them to check the noise. It turned out to be with the shock absorber. I got my car only two years ago, this got me surprised!

I am just under 60k miles and mine has also become very stiff. It is going to the dealer soon. I wonder if the electronics are involved. The shifting in my transmission seemed to get stuck and they "reset" something that helped. I hope that is the same here.

Do you have the SX with the self leveling suspension? I do and need to see if the load sensor might have failed.

I have 40k on my 2021 and the right rear shock is blown (oil all over it). Mine is not the load leveling kind. We had 5 adults in it before I started to hear it thumping back there, but that shouldn't have damaged it. Dealer is replacing under warranty.
