the primacys where the original tires on the car - worn out at 25K - so I'm looking for tires that will last longer, comfortable ride and low noise (if possible), are good in dry and wet and meant for town driving.
I am in NJ
The shop owner (who is not trying to sell me anything, and told me to go to costco if the price was lower), advised to avoid the ccr2 as we don't have a lof of snow days and that for town driving and frequent stops, the defender was the right choice.
The defenders did not do well in the tire rack tests cv the ccr2 and even the Primacy tour A/S.
I'm now leaning towards the Primacy tour A/S but weary of their thread life if they are similar to the LTX.
Any experience with the Defender 2 and comparison with the other 2?
