• THIS SECTION IS ONLY FOR DISCUSSIONS RELATING TO BUYING A TELLURIDE. PLEASE USE A DIFFERENT SECTION FOR POSTING MESSAGES ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN BUYING A TELLURIDE. THANK YOU!

  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... No. Good friend of mine built a house last year in Pray, Montana. I'm about 35min outside of Yellowstone. Going to relax but damn I wish I had a Telluride out here!
I will as soon as mine arrives on your lot

Congrats Grinny1! Great color combination. Jason, thanks for posting your SX-P on this site and offering it for below MSRP! It's nice to see something like this when so many dealerships are getting greedy on their higher trim vehicles.

We appreciate that. They make these everyday and will continue to do so. Nothing really justifies marking these up. Now if it was a run of 200 or 50 or whatever I can see dealers doing that. We'd still be at MSRP.

Congratulations!!!
How exciting!
Please share all of the details of how you made this happen.
It was pretty easy actually. Saw the post on this forum of availability. Had low expectations, so that helps...didn't expect to be first in line to get it. I called at 7:58 am Monday morning (was told to call as soon as dealership opened at 8 am if I wanted it). There was another party interested, so first call with deposit would take it. I was surprised it remained posted on this forum for more than 8 hours with no taker when I happened to notice the post.

The app was quick and easy, docs fed ex'd and on their way back to Muncie. Shipping arranged and paid for. Should have it within 8 to 10 days. Quick and painless.

Just the way we like it. Thank You!

Thanks for saving me the drive from Utah all the way to Indiana :-)
We are spending $1264 for delivery. We couldn't squeeze a 18 hr drive (one way) into our lives right now. I live in a teeny tiny town in the northwestern corner of SD. Overnight Fedex delivery takes two days.

A yes, a bit higher to ship here to Northern Utah. I haven't purchased yet, so I still might go that route. Can you update the thread with your delivery experience?

I sure will. I should clarify that we decided to take delivery in Bismarck, ND which is 3 hours from here. We own a home there, and after thinking about it with an estimated delivery to our SD residence taking anywhere from a week to four weeks, we gambled the shipper would more likely having loads going west on I-94 much sooner. We literally are so remote here. And the cost was the same.

@Jason Fox i had a local Dallas dealer tell me they can order for me at MSRP but that Kia will not be accepting SX-P model orders after 10-31. Is this true or are they just trying to get me to move quickly?
