Looking at getting the 2022 Telluride SX wolf grey with nightfall, prestige, and towing. All dealers are 12k over MSRP. Are yall paying over or how do you get MSRP on these vehicles (I'm guessing under won't be an option)

Seems like most/all dealers in west and east coast states have high markups. So, many of us buy from out of state dealers at MSRP. Quite a few west coast people buy from Colorado.

In tx these are the dealers that charge msrp :
Huffines kia
Van griffith - msrp +799
Moritz kia - msrp+899

With the above 3 you have to place custom orders . I have tried calling every possible dealership in tx and almost all of them have markup or mandatory dealer additions ranging from 1800$ to 15000$

Our dealer here in Texas will order them new for MSRP. We got lucky - we went to order a Telluride EX but they happened to have an SX in Gravity Grey from a deal that fell through. We jumped on it even though it was not the color we wanted to avoid the wait. Now....if you wanted to get a used one, this dealer definitely marks them up. Most Texas dealers have significant add ons. If you want more info, I'll be happy to share.

Expanding on the above list (information current as of this past August):

Huffines Kia McKinney: MSRP, no deposit, no mandatory add-ons. Expect a 6-7 month wait
Huffines Kia Corinth: MSRP, $500 refundable deposit, must select 2-5 factory accessories. Expect 4-5 month wait
Moritz Kia Alliance: MSRP, deposit required ($500?) + $898 dealer add (tint/prep/nitrogen). Expect 4-5 month wait
Moritz Kia Hurst: same as Moritz Alliance

Try Fort Bend Kia. That's where we were going to order from at MSRP. $500 deposit, not sure of other details.

2022 AWD SX in Everlasting Silver/Dune Interior/Prestige/Towing/Ill scuff/Floor mats/Cargo Net @ $49,775 $500 down refundable deposit.

You need to widen your search, that’s ridiculous

I ordered the exact same specs from my dealer in central Illinois (Green Kia) and they only charged a $500 deposit. However they now charge $3000 over MSRP if you do not live within so many miles of the dealership. I keep reading that people from CA are going to CO to buy their Telly, Which is funny because when I ordered mine in August a guy drove a rental from Colorado to buy a Telluride in Springfield, IL! Being 200 miles from Chicago they have dealers offering 5-10k over MSRP to buy from them. That's when they decided to charge 3k for people out of the area. It's just crazy.

That’s great! How long did they quote you? Ours is 4-5 months… and it’s only been 2.5 weeks. Going to be a long wait!

I was told 6 months. I know that’s far from exact so I’m hoping (as we all are) that it comes in a lot quicker.

Our friends just ordered one today (an SX) and were told 4-6 months. So far away!
