November 11, 2023 my computer display said there was a new 'system update" ready to be installed on my '23 Kia Telluride. So I allowed it to update. It took 15 minutes to update and another 15 minutes to restart. Now my doors won't lock or unlock with the sensor or on my phone. I have to use the key fob. As far as I can tell, everything else is still working. . I went to my dealer and they said they'll need the car for 1-2 days because they weren't sure what happened. They might need to "reprogram it from a USB". What happened? It makes me very leery to do any future updates.

I just did the same update last week, 2023 telluride as well. I noticed remote locking stopped working through app on Friday 11/10/23. I went out of town for the weekend, my daughter said the car wouldn't start sun morning 11/12/23, it made clicking noises, brake pedal high and hard. Arrived home, battery completely dead on Monday 11/13/23, no lights, etc. I checked, nothing left on. I tried to jump start it, no luck. Calling dealership in the morning.

I did the update on our 24' SXP X-line and have not had any issues.. I wonder if the problems are only effecting the 23's?
What did the update do? wife was driving and system updated. A details link appeared on screen but because we were in drive wouldn’t allow me as passenger to access. I couldn’t find details link after we were in park.

Our '23 SXP updated with no issues, but we don't use the phone as a key so we wouldn't notice anything in that regard.
