• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Discovered on my Telluride, that differs from my Sorento, that the tailgate will automatically close when the key fob is moved away from the car. My daughter and I were unloading groceries out of the cargo area, which requires many trips back and forth into the house. As I reached the steps for the house, the tailgate started closing on my daughter as she was grabbing some grocery bags.

I am sure the tailgate closing is a feature that is supposed to happen. If need be, I will get in the habit of leaving the key fob in the cargo area until we have finished unloading. A quick question though - is it possible to go into settings and disable the closing BUT leave the auto-opening enabled? (I love the auto-opening when approaching the car with a full cart of groceries.)

UPDATE
It's a simple tweak in the settings menu - you can totally turn off the auto-closing! (y)
(I'm guessing this was turned ON at the factory.)
