I’ve been having the exact same issue. Switched phones and still there. Maps and google maps operate fine. No clue other than the update I did a few months back caused it.Has anyone else had trouble using Waze and CarPlay in a 2022 Telluride? It seems to be running “behind” where I actually am on the road. Only had the car for a month but it has not worked properly. Thanks.
What’s weird is I travel a lot and haven’t had it happen once in a rental and never in my Volvo. I guess it’s good that it’s a known issue though.Waze/Carplay is a known issue. Who knows if they will ever fix it.
Waze suffers lag issues on CarPlay and Android Auto - 9to5Google
If you are using a wireless Carplay device like CarLinkIt, yes the lag is incredible. The Waze maps shows the turn like 30 seconds after I already took it. If I use the USB wire it works perfectly fine though, no noticeable lag.Has anyone else had trouble using Waze and CarPlay in a 2022 Telluride? SameI have lag on my 2021 SX-P and I use a standard Apple wire.
the issue my wife is having is turn on waze and it thinks we are at home when we are somewhere elese...it can't find out where we are...it acts the same if its plugged in or using the wireless connectorI found that Google Maps and Waze on a long drive tend to lag behind where I actually am. Apple Map seems to stay pretty much on track . . .
