• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... TELLURIDE BEATS THE CRAP OUT OF RANGE ROVER

Lol these comparisons posts are funny. You guys are sounding like Samsung commercials that try to mock Apple when they are actually trying to be like them.

I don’t know about you all, but if someone offers me a Range Rover Sport straight up trade for my Telluride I’ll be all over that.

I bet the Range Rover forums don’t even have a single mention of Kia LOL

You are correct, nothing but pages after pages of repair talks over there.
Perhaps.. but even with that they are not saying I wish I bought a Telluride lol. Plus my car has been in the shop longer than I’ve had it.. so not much different

1st year cars are always in the shop; happens across all makes, models. There aren’t enough pages on this forum to discuss the 07 Acadia and all its problems. I had one

it's all gossip from non-owners. There is experience with rr, 389k without repairs, but in 389 the engine just died.
Kia already on the second hundred fall apart.

Reviews of cars/wine/laptops/apparel are just reviews.

The only thing that matters is what y'all think of your car after actually driving it.

Maybe I just got lucky with a great AWD 2021 SX P/T, but I love my Telly.

My personal review of the car I now own, based on my actual experience pushing the car in all sorts of exciting ways, is ultimately the only review that matters to me

I see them as different animals. :) Only reason reviewers mention Bentayga vs GV80 is arguably similar looks. Telluride is a great value at under $50K, people shopping in 100K+ range do not look at Telluride normally.

Edit: I am happy to hear that Kia is turning some LR customer's head. I don't know about Discovery(sport) buyers, but I know few RR owners that wouldn't bat an eye to buy a lowly Kia. They were impressed with the Telluride but they either see it as a cheap knock-off or they are too good for a Kia. I am not saying all RR owners are like that but sadly some are.

Except, they don't actually have similar looks (completely different shapes at the headlights, grille, taillights, greenhouse, dash, etc.) aside from having the general uber-lux look (most auto journos got it wrong, the exception bring a few like the WSJ's Dan Neil).

The thing about the GV80 that has impressed the journos the most has been the quality of the interior - which wows for its segment.

Arguably, it has a better dash design than the Bentayga, but of course, the Bentley takes it on materials.

But the distance btwn the GV80 and Bentayga (will be even closer for the GV90, which will be more similar in size) in terms of interior is less than that between the Telluride and Range Rover.

Whatever the reason is, GV80(or 90 or 100) vs Bentayga is completely useless. I would guess only a small percentage of Bentley shoppers will know Genesis. These comparison reviews only stroke the ego of GV80 owners and potential Genesis shoppers. 🤷‍♂️

^ While that may be true, think of it this way...

The GV80 in many ways reminds me of Jaguar, or at least what Jaguar used to be (striking sheetmet and an opulent interior compared to the Germans).

If Jaguar had a CUV version of the XJ (from back in the day), a comparison with the Bentayga wouldn't seem out of place even tho the Bentley costs way more.

It would be like comparing the S Class to the Mulsanne - to see if that extra $200k is warranted.
