If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So, I'm a couple weeks out from my delivery date, if it holds true. Been looking on Autotrader because they have a somewhat current lineup of vehicles at dealerships, but it's got like a 24-48 hour lag. Does anyone know if a site that has current (as in w/in 24 hours of a vehicle arriving at the dealership) lineup? I know Kia doesn't publish which dealerships are getting what VIN, but it would be really convenient if they did. Would also show which dealerships tend to get the most vehicles if you had the know how track that sort of thing.

That's not how Autotrader works, it's the dealers themselves not Autotrader or the manufacturer who maintain their inventory on the site. Unfortunately the only good source is the dealer themselves for any incoming inventory information. Kia's website does have a feature to search dealer inventory with 100 miles, not the best most accurate. You say you have a delivery date so I recommend keeping in touch with your salesperson or the sales manager, they'll have the best access to that information. Bad news is many manufacturers use 3rd party logistics companies to manage shipping the cars, when I was at Ford I was told they either used FedEx or UPS. I only ever had one build sale as my luck would have it the truck got held up due to a rail workers strike and I was calling rail yards to track it down. In the end customer backed out since the turn around time was coming to almost 3 month well past the 6 weeks we promised.
