• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Telluride doesn't wake up as I approach

I have a 2024 SC-P. Sometimes as I walk up the welcome mirrors open and the door handle lights come on. Sometimes I have to stand next to the car door and wait for a few seconds. And sometimes the car doesn't wake up at all and I have to unlock it with the fob. I park below ground and was wondering if with the newer fobs it has to send some verification to the Kia Uvo or whatever it's called now to verify the fob? It's getting really annoying and I was wondering if anyone else has this experience and was able to get it resolved?

My last Telly was a 2021 EX with the old fob. That thing would wake up as I approached from 10-15 feet away.

When you’re not underground, does it do the same?

run the test above, and also - does it do the same with the secondary fob? (maybe battery in 1st fob is dying?)

Could you try running the test above and see if the issue persists with the secondary fob?

So now. It turns out it does it both above and below ground. The longer I am away from the vehicle the higher the likelihood that it takes a while to wake up. It's feeling like the car goes to sleep after a certain number of hours. Am I the only one this happens to? If so, then back to the dealer it goes for service.
