• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have read several topics related to upgrading headlight bulbs. I have only had my Telluride S for 2 weeks and though that maybe I was just being too picky. I am disappointed with the brightness of the headlights. (There is no comparison to the headlights in my 2016 Volvo!) I have seen several bulb recommendations, bulb upgrades and concerns expressed that it could impact the vehicle warranty. Any thoughts/recommendations for my S would be greatly appreciated.

You can start with these threads.

And these...

Loving my HID's!

Awesome information! Thank you for taking so much time to put it all together. It really helped. I think I am ordering new bulbs!

Again, I cant say "thank you" enough! This can get quite confusing! This forum is great for information and help!! I think I may try the LED and if I am not happy with the application, I will consider the HID's. One final silly question! Lol! The 2 links below for bulbs are from the string of replies. The is a significant price different in the 2 different bulbs. (Both Sealight). Comparing the bulbs, the higher priced bulb is 60 watt vs. 45 watt. I assume that is the only difference? Is the 60 watt bulb preferable over the 45 watt bulb? Is there a significant difference? I want to be sure that I purchase the best option. Again, thanks in advance!!!!!

Not sure, as I haven't tried either. But, another poster linked to these bulbs (I'm not sure of quality / longevity)

In any case, they are all Prime, which means free returns if you aren't happy. Please share pictures and results. Thx.

How difficult was install? Did you need to adjust angle to avoid blinding oncoming traffic? Thx.

I installed the bulbs in a friends garage. (He is a mechanic). The install is rather easy. After removing the dust cap, the bulb was a bit tight to remove, but after some persuasion it came out. (The reason I went to my mechanic friend. I didn't want to break the bulb). It helped to look at the placement of the slotted pieces on the bulb when you you remove the factory bulb to simplify your hand placement when putting in the new bulb. (The area is a bit tight and hard to see when you are putting the new bulb into the slots). You must carefully place the remaining wire and driver plastic piece into the bulb housing before reinstalling the dust cover. It does fit! Relatively easy and plug and play! At this point, I have not made any adjustments. You insert the bulb, turn and it locks into position.

Cjunk- As an added note, I drive to work at 4AM each day. So far......I have not had any cars "flick" their high beams at me while I am driving. I assume the low beam spray of light is OK and not impacting oncoming vehicles!

Did you ultimately install the Sealight LAXMAS L2 or the Auxito bulbs? I think you accidentally linked both individually in different posts.

Sorry! I installed the Auxito bulbs. They were $50 for the pair.

Sorry. It was the Auxito.

Installed the Auxito LED bulbs and they are very bright, but while the driver’s side looks pretty good, the passenger side has way too many dark areas. And that side was a bear to put in. Returning and I guess trying the Lasfit or Twelvolt, or maybe HID. Is there a consensus yet on which of these three options are the best alternative?

I put Lasfit in my S; they are perfect. Super bright and no dead spots

Side note; the bulb has to be oriented in the correct position. The Lasfit has to be positioned to the 9 and 3 position to eliminate dead spots. This should be mentioned in the install instructions.

I see Lasfit has both the 9005 and the Plus9005. On Amazon $55 vs $129. Which do you have @quikhit?
