• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... My wife realized that her fob is missing for our Telluride S. We have looked everywhere. Anyway....I am the primary driver of the vehicle. The dealership quoted $415 for a replacement Any suggestions? I just want a back-up fob in case I misplace my fob. Any aftermarket options? I saw a few Kia fobs on e-bay from $175 to $275.

Sounds about right. Better than BMW's price! Ask if that's the price programmed or if there is a labor charge for programming.

Call a Locksmith. Some of them may have the ability to program new FOBs, but you’ll still need an OEM FOB.

Thx! Options to consider!

$2.99 for a CLONE FOB well I just order one------ let see if Works can be at my house if ever needed

I came across this the other day. Almost sounds to good to be true, but other stuff I have ordered from dx.com in the past has been decent

It may work for your garage or a gate - possibly to unlock the car (doubtful) but it won't work with push button start systems that need to detect an electronic key.

good enough!!!!!!!! Open/close

Yeah, your probably right. It just says door opener. It doesn’t say anything about being able to start the car. I’m guessing that is why it is so cheap.

I am hoping to find one that will also start the car. That's my concern. Misplacing my fob and being unable to drive the vehicle.
