• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I found a bug. Kind of a big one. When attempting to turn off the engine with the UVO app

When you start your telluride with push button and then attempt to turn off the engine it will have an error. If you then lock your doors with the app, you will be locked out until you call UVO support. Key fob will not work, app won’t work, nothing works.

That was the last hour of my life.

That sucks.

So you started the engine by pushing the button to start, but then used the app to turn the engine off?

I’m sure the valet key works didn’t think to try.

Try it again? Haha just kidding, but kind of serious if you want to take another one for the team and let us know! :)

This happened to my husband as well!! For some reason the tailgate opened for him and he crawled through that way lol

He was loading luggage for us at a hotel. Started engine with button while loading. Came into hotel and we decided to grab a bite of breakfast before leaving so I said I would turn engine off with app. Had to lock doors first using app before I could access climate. Turned it off. After breakfast he went to get car to bring up to the lobby and pick me up and car was locked - wouldn’t respond to his key fob or anything! He tried the tailgate with push button (not key fob) and it opened. He crawled through.

Yeah, it’s borked for sure. Also why does this app remind me of apps when the smart phones just came out. It’s slow and painful to use.

Oh I did try it again on the phone with UVO support he was perplexed that it worked. His first explanation was that there was too many requests. I told him there is only 3 options.

I wish I could say I was surprised, but the uvo app gets such terrible reviews.
