• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Thank you all for the great advice I've read through so far. I found this site after placing a deposit with a dealer for 5k over MSRP for a car that didn't even have all the bells & whistles that I wanted. Thanks to this forum, I've found a somewhat local dealer that is only looking for a little over MSRP and has had multiple success stories listed in the Good Dealer section. I cancelled the deal with the price gouging dealer and a refund for my deposit was submitted. I might be waiting for a bit but, I feel like I'm going to get a better deal on a newer model with what I choose.

I placed my order today: Black Copper and Nappa Dune Brown - SX AWD - P/T/N with illuminated scuff plates.

With some of the chats on 2022 changes and the DIY option for the Nightfall black out I was a bit apprehensive but we went for the package.

We aren't quite the DIY type for cars so other than maybe changing out the badges ourselves or painting the exhaust - not sure how much else we would DIY. I am now looking to get all weather floor mats and cargo to protect from us and our dogs for our car that will likely be a Thanksgiving or Christmas arrival

Thanks in advance - so glad to have found this forum!
