• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... If you find yourself at Costco, standing beside a solitary flat of big, beautiful fiddle leaf figs, wondering whether you can transport a 6-gallon plant, while debating the wisdom of waiting till your next Costco run, I am here to tell you: Buy with confidence. Unless it is an especially unruly specimen, the Telluride will get it home. 😉

Also, thank goodness for BSM and the camera’s flank view, because I couldn’t see through the small forest in my backseat.

Lol! Happiness is where we find it, isn't it? Felt the same way when we travelled 400 miles with 4 humans and three dogs (small dogs--a 20 lb, a 12 lb and a 5 lb) last weekend to visit our youngest son and his wife (newly married) in Boston. The Telly was a pleasure to drive! The occupants slept most of the way! We have a EX-P which we paid extra just to get the captain's chair solely because of the scenario we had in mind last weekend! It worked perfectly! Dogs played musical chairs between our laps (my wife's and daughter in-law's) and the third row bench seat. My son and I took turns driving and navigating and all had fun sharing the experience of our Telly's first long drive--just like back in the days when our kids were in college, lol!

Costco is like a giant rummage sale, little continuity in what they carry. You'd better buy it today if you like it. It'll be gone when you come back.

Being a Costco fanatic (my favorite thing to do in a new town is check out the Costco :sneaky: ) don't ever sleep on a good deal. One too many times I've gone back and they are cleaned out of what you wanted.

What great dogs! We’ve done our own road trip and agree that the Telly is a nice way to see the country and visit family. :)

Exactly! No regrets. But I’m glad I only had one child with me. If there had been more passengers, I might’ve had to decide whom to leave behind at Costco. 😂

Local Costco and REI stores count as tourist destinations if I have a couple hours free.

Not sure if you guys have a Costco Business near y'all, but, THAT.... is nice. Lots of items you will never see at a regular Costco.

Never heard of such a thing. I'm only a member because I literally have to drive next to the building almost every time I leave the house. I figure I save at least $60 on gas a year which covers the membership. I very much dislike shopping there. I basically buy chicken breasts and the occasional oddball item from the middle. Food is more expensive than Sam's and their selection isn't as good. It's also much less efficient to shop at although my local store did finally add self checkouts so I don't have to stand in huge lines to buy my one item anymore.😂

Judging from the tails, it isn’t just humans that love riding in the Telly! 🐕🐩🐕

I belong to both Sam's and Costco and at least here, the Costco food items are exponentially better. I can't help feeling I'm at a rebranded Walmart at Sams.

Most food is Kirkland brand, particularly in the refrigerator section. I get name brand foods from the coolers at Sam's. At least that's the way it is here.

Might have to try that. Only precooked bacon I've had that was good came from Hormel via a foodservice provider.

Shop at all three, Sam's, Costco, and Business Costco. Each have something different that the others do not have. Even different Sam's locations have items not in other locations.

California?

And no love for BJ's?
They are currently building one a minute from my office so I will be joining this for sure because of the convenience. Might drop the Sam's since its a bit of a drive. Hoping they have something unique to offer?

I just checked, there are only 10 Costco Business Centers in the entire country.
