• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Got SXP and about 3800 and all good until out of nowhere, a rattle at sunroof. About to take our first family trip to Destin from Atlanta and gotta get it fixed. Seems to be on passenger side closer to windshield. Just asking as I had wife drive while I poked to find loose screw or metal to metal issues with little resolution.

usually some vibration causes the rattle. Do yo notice it at certain speed range?

Try pressing up on the headliner around where the noise is coming from. If you are lucky, it’s just a loose headliner plastic retaining clip. Others have reported it was a loose headliner clip closer to the rear climate controls.

I'm thinking you are right on liner. Does stop but can't find the loose piece. I will get a smarter guy than me to check. Thanks for the info
