• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Things You Wish You Had Known Prior to Ordering/Purchase

If you are serious about Everlasting Silver exterior, be sure to look at one in person, and see if that's what you want. To my eye it's more grey than silver.

^ good point.

The Kia website is helpful in a lot of ways but y’all really need to see the colors in person.

Before I became a Moss Man, I loved the look of Everlasting “Silver” on the Kia website. However, when I saw one at a dealership (not the awesome dealership I used for my purchase) , I was shocked by how much darker it was than the color shown on the website. Kia Canada at least calls the color Everlasting Grey. I’d just change the spelling and call it something that mentions “Blue-Gray” for the American market.

That being said, ES is a lovely color, especially contrasted with the Dune Brown Nappa Leather interior for anyone considering an SX Prestige Package non-Nighfall.

I just have to add......the Everlasting Silver is a chameleon color. It looks gray, silver and bluish gray depending on time of day and weather (sunny or cloudy). I know it’s subjective, but I absolutely love this color. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t hesitate to pick it again.

Your car looks amazing @Frankie Knuckles!

And yes, the individual color flakes react to different angles, lighting conditions and look good in all of them. It was just a mismatch from the silver silver appearance on Kia’s official website and what I saw on the lot. I was originally thinking Silver and Black (like the Oakland Raiders) and Blue-Gray is definitely cool, but in my book, it’s a slight stretch to call it “silver” since the darker gray and blue flake present more prominently in most lighting conditions.
