If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Would love you Telluride owners what you feel are worth it extras?
1. cross bars-->We are an active family that bicycles a lot so are they worth it or go with something from Yakima? carry the bikes on the roof or via the rear tow hitch
2. I have a truck to tow things so not sure if the self-leveling tow package is worth it. Why do you think is it worth it?
3. What about the prestige package? Was it everything you thought it was? Are the rain-sensing wipers annoying or cool? What makes that package worth it?
5. Nightfall?? Worth it or not?
4.. what other options do you think you want?

Any other thoughts you have would help me out. Thanks

A lot of this is going to be up to your personal preference. Cross bars are eh to me, I don't want to lift a bike over my head, but may be nice if you kayak or need the luggage room.

Self leveling suspension is a new tech (its just fancy shocks) and if you're not towing, I'd skip them as it will be cheaper to replace if you keep the Telluride for 100k+ miles

Prestige is awesome, the HUD is a great safety feature, so I'd go with yes on this one, plus the rear seat HVAC is a great add-on for the kids.

Nightfall is for sure a personal preference, personally I love how it looks. Only thing I added on is the rear bumper protector as that area always gets beat to crap and I'd rather scratch plastic than paint!

I highly suggest you take a look at this excellent post by @NCTelly related to towing. Take note on what the self-leveling shocks are and are not.

Much of the other items are definitely personal preference, as others have mentioned. I personally would prefer to carry bikes on a hitch mounted bike rack vs. on top on the cross bars.

Overall the Prestige package is excellent and worth it to us. We really love the HUD, cooled and heated second row seats, Nappa and heated steering wheel. The rain-sensing wipers are awesome and I have had them on several vehicles. You just have to make sure you shut them off for car washes. Again, personal preference in needs/wants.

Nightfall is nice and may actually allow you to obtain a vehicle faster than some other trims. Production of Nightfall has been steady in the past couple months and higher than most other trims.

Definitely get the Prestige package. I would hate to know there were available features that I didn’t have. The HUD and auto wipers are the features I use the most from it. The other parts are mainly just nice to have.

Nightfall is hit and miss. I like some parts of it but dislike others. I prefer the “classic” Telluride look.

There’s not any paint at the top of the Telluride bumper. The only paint is down low on the fake skid plate by the exhaust. You’re now just scratching your plastic protector rather than plastic bumper.

I'm very confused, there isn't paint? Are you saying there is unfinished plastic instead of painted plastic?

I'll take "worth it" for 500, Alex.

You can get cheaper cross bars on Amazon/eBay. I bought some for about $150.

If you are going to max out the 500lb tongue weight, the tow package with the leveling suspension is very much worth it. The airbags will keep the vehicle more level while towing, which is better for ride and handling.

Not a fan of nightfall (especially for $1,300).

Prestige package is totally worth it IMO.

Interior light package is not. I have it, and am not impressed.

I would forego floor mats and order the rubber all weather mats from an online discount KIA parts dealer for less money.

If ordering again, I would get the illuminated door sill plates.

@obed96 do you still like the cross bars you bought? Deciding between those and just getting some oem ones if I find someone selling.
