If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Those who’ve used DCU, what is the process?

I have a deposit down at a dealership in a different state. I’ve heard horror stories about title and registration issues when financing/not walking out with the title. I have the means to pay cash up front, but the rates at DCU are so low I’d like to take advantage of it.

My question is, will DCU issue me a check so I can pay the dealer? Then send in the title? Or, could I pay cash then refinance with DCU sending them the title?
