There are a lot of Tellurides out there that came with the Michelin Primacy Tour AS tires. TFL Car did a comparison test with that tire and other all season, all weather, and snow tires to show the differences in acceleration and braking in snow. The differences are dramatic with the Michelins doing pretty poorly. If you live or frequent snowy areas, it may be worth it to change out your tires.

It was cool to see how all-weather performs in between all-season and snow tires. I didn’t even know all-weather tires was a thing until now.

I wish they did more runs than just one with each tire. There may have just been different user error when he tested the Michelin’s first. I’ve driven on snow covered pavement at 30-45 mph and had no problem slowing down at stop lights.
