• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have a 2020 Telluride and will be moving to a new house soon and wanted to tow a u-haul trailer to move furniture vs renting an entire cargo truck. I have the factory installed tow package, but in researching have learned that it is not an adequate system. I'm still struggling a bit with understanding all of it, but realizing it essentially has to do with the ability to break safely. My question is, for renting a trailer with u-haul, if the trailer has hydraulic breaks vs electric can I still tow safely with my current factory installation? I've never towed anything before so i'm definitely a newbie. Thanks!

2020 you are fine to tow a UHaul with hydraulic brakes because it only requires a 4-pin flat connection. If you had the 2021 you would need to buy a 7-pin to 4-pin adapter.
