  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello,
I’m new to all of this and don’t know what I’m doing, so please bear with me. I put an order in with the dealer on 3/20. I found the exact car I ordered on failcat when I filtered the dealer. It has a date shown of 3/23. I’m guessing it’s highly unlikely that it’s mine, but how do you find out if the VIN is attached to your name?

Only way is calling the dealer. Just remember not to explicitly tell them what website you used to lookup the vin.

You can get on the quoted thread. Give him you VIN and initials and he can look up the info

I also doubt that is your car, but you can use this thread to check if your name is tied to the VIN #
