My dealer doesn’t like to actually give me dates when I ask for ETA updates. Just likes to say “it’s still in transit”. Thankfully we’ve got @StephenCantrelle. I kind of understand it; probably goes toward managing expectations, but I hate the lack of transparency.

Hello @StephenCantrelle - Can you please track 5XYP5DHC8MG187364 ? It had an original ETA of 6/6; dealer says that the transport company is not responding to requests for updates, but that doesn't sound realistic.

Nevermind, car showed up today! Apparently it was stuck in a train yard in Chicago for a week or two.

Wow, thanks @StephenCantrelle. This popped up on failcat 6/15 and so I asked my salesperson (without mentioning my source) that I saw the vin had populated and if he could check to see if my order was accepted.

He checked to see and replied "You car is indeed on the build list. It is scheduled to arrive on the lot either the last week of August or the first week of September"

Seemed a bit fishy because he mentioned previously that once an order is accepted they expect to receive it within 30-45 days... I guess there's always a chance that somebody in FW ordered the exact same specs as me earlier in the line - Gravity Gray SX-P+T - but I don't see any others for that dealership on failcat and if the order was accepted I imagine a VIN would've populated

edit: I guess I should've mentioned originally that my initials are BP..

Has different name attached... so I would say you are a few weeks to a month away from getting your VIN on failcat..

5XYP64HC6NG196952 or 5XYP64HC8NG196998. Both are showing up on failcat and the same vehicle I have put a deposit down on and going to the same dealership. Can you tell me ETA.

952 is In Transit with ETA of 06-24 and so is 998... looks like on same truck to dealer

I can help track once Vin is assigned.. when dealer marks sold internally through another system then I can no longer track..(Dealers can not do so till Telluride is in dealer stock or showing in dealer stock in our system)

I see you’re tracking VIN’s around mine so if you have time could you check 5XYP5DHC9NG195958 with the initials ML (mark lewis) on it? On a side note, I like the serial numbers coming out now. Easy to remember 1959 58. Since the first 2022 was 1948 21, this would make mine the 1,137 Telluride made for MY 2022. See what all the time does to a person here? Thank you Stephen.
