Hi, all! I am new here and not 100% sure how this works! I just finalized my order for a 2022 SX through Kia of Muncie, IN this weekend. They quoted me a 6-8 month wait. Nathan and Lucas were awesome to work with. I am seeing 3-4 month wait, 5-6 month wait, etc. here on the forums and just wondered about how long it normally takes to receive a VIN number so that I can begin to track (I think the VIN is what you track with?) Thank you, thank you, thank you for any advice! This is the worst waiting game and I am just getting started!

That is an unanswerable question - too many variables. Read the thread "order to delivery time" and that will give you an idea. I bought both of mine from Muncie and they are very proactive about keeping you informed as soon as they have any information. You wait longer with them because they are the only ones currenty selling below MSRP.

@StephenCantrelle Sorry to ask again, but is it possible to track 5XYP5DHC2MG192348 and verify if there's a customer name attached to it?

It's the exact config we ordered, but the dealer doesn't see it in their system and is asking if we want to take another one they have coming in (moss green, wrong color).

I do not see a name attached.. they can have a deposit on it... ETA showing 07-07 as of today
 
Hello all, quick question, I was informed today that my order was picked up by KFOS, but no eta at this point, is this a common occurrence, or something I should dig deeper into? Thanks in advance!

It takes a couple of days after being picked up to receive an ETA.
